Born and raised in Northern Canada, Adam Kirschner aka Noble Son, spent long winters in isolation, developing his unique brand of songwriting. Inspired by themes of anxiety, self pity, obsessive joy and also rage, his creations often walk a line between endearing subtly and wild animalism.
Said to be “channeling a young Jim Carrey”, Kirschner is something of an oddity in the indie-folk genre, with live performances as hilarious as they are heartfelt. His shows, featuring soaring vocals, beautiful harmonies and gentle reprieves, are punctuated by chaotic crescendos and timely comic relief.
Noble Son’s upcoming release “Life Isn’t Fun” (Spring 2019) is his most ambitious work to date. Featuring contributions from Erik Nielsen (We Are The City, Deep Dark Woods), Andrew Rasmussen (Hey, Ocean!, Hannah Georgas), Alex Dobson (Old Man Canyon, David Beckingham) and more - “Life Isn’t Fun” showcases some of Canada’s finest talents.
